Part 1: I used a picture of my daughter Jacey and her friend Casandra to show layering. It was pretty difficult I must admit. The picture of the two girls is on the middle layer and the words are on the top layer. I put the pink rectangle on the bottom layer. 
Part 2: I decided to make a how to of our new circulation system to show the studnets how to use the system to check out a new book using our search engine. I have always wondered how our tech people made these how to's and now I feel I can make them just as well as they do! It took me a while to figure out how to take a snap shot of the screen but once I figured that out it was pretty easy after that. I will use this lesson to teach our teachers as well as our students how to search using our new system. The timing of this assignmnent was great!
